.....too bad it's not alcohol-induced.
The dreaded store Muzak has struck again. Today's selection of Christmas tunes is especially mind-numbing. Usually there are a few contemporary artists doing the Christmas classics, but not today. Everything that has played today was recorded at least 40 years ago.
I thought that the last week before Christmas was supposed to have fast-paced music to help shoppers make impulse purchases. Based on what is overhead today, the goal is to put everybody to sleep for at least four hours.
And I misplaced my mp3 so I can't listen to anything decent.

LUCKY! We started the Xmas blend the weekend after Thanksgiving.
I feel your pain. The first time of hearing them is okay. It wears very thing, very quickly indeed. The only way I can palliate my pain is to imagine the cute female customers running around in Santa outfits. maybe that is just me :)
If you are desperate look up at the speakers in the ceiling and look for a small hole in the center. This is the volume control on some models. If you see one try to get up there with a screw driver and insert it into the hole to turn down the volume.
I haven't had to listen to Muzak in 3 years
"Little Drummer Boy"
3 times last night.
Between 7 and 8 PM.
All three versions sucked.
